CASI offers four levels of instructor certification.  Level 1 is an entry level program designed to introduce prospective snowboard instructors to the basic teaching and riding skills used at the beginner, novice and intermediate levels of riding.  Level 2 focuses on teaching intermediate and advanced riding skills.  Level 3 focuses on more advanced riding techniques, teaching and pedagogy skills.  Level 4 focuses on expert riding techniques, sessioning and advanced pedagogy skills.
