CASI offers four levels of Instructor certification, and additional certification in park or carving instruction. If you are interested in coaching certification, please contact the Canadian Snowboard Federation.

The Level I Instructor course is an entry level program designed to introduce prospective snowboard instructors to the basic teaching and riding skills used at the beginner, novice and intermediate levels of riding.

One must successfully complete their CASI Level 1 instructor's course before proceeding to attempt the CASI Level 2 Instructor, Park or Carving courses.

The Level 1 Instructors course runs over three days, and is conducted by certified CASI examiners at ski resorts throughout Canada.

If you are a high school student, you can earn credits by becoming a certified instructor!  Click here for more information!

Here at CASI BC, we organize all the course for British Columbia. If you would like to take a course outside of BC, please click here for a list of the regional coordinators for the rest of Canada.

After successful completion of the Level I program, you may want to enrol in various other programs CASI has to offer. For all Level 2, 3 and 4 programs, please direct all enquiries to the CASI National Office, in Quebec:
